We had the opportunity to create a collection of digital assets for GKN Aerospace Repair Solutions in El Cajon, California.

Our goal was to capture clean, professional visuals of the facility, machining areas, and operations throughout the factory. These assets will help guide viewers through the building while providing a clear visual representation of the facility and its capabilities.

One of my favorite parts of production is choreographing movement between the people on camera and the camera itself. I guide team members through specific actions while we move through the scene alongside them. This makes the facility feel active and allows viewers to experience the space as it is used in real life.

The completed videos will be used at conventions to introduce GKN’s new facility in San Diego, educate customers about its capabilities, and expand awareness of GKN Aerospace Repair Solutions.

Choreographing the Facility Walkthrough

One of my favorite parts of creating a facility walkthrough is choreographing the movement within each scene. Instead of simply filming an empty space, I work with employees to recreate the natural actions and interactions that happen throughout their day.

I guide each person through specific movements while coordinating those actions with the movement of the camera. This brings energy into the facility, showcases how each area is actually used, and helps the viewer feel like they are moving through the space alongside the team.

It is a collaborative process between the people, the environment, and the camera—allowing us to turn everyday operations into an engaging visual experience.

Continuing Our Work with GKN Aerospace

This facility project is part of an ongoing creative partnership with GKN Aerospace. Over time, we have supported the team through several video, photography, and digital asset projects designed to document their people, capabilities, and work.

Each project has given us a closer look at the expertise behind GKN Aerospace while allowing us to develop a consistent visual style across their content.
